March 26, 2016 at 6:30 amMary & Tharon, I want to make this but how do you get your potatoes like that, so small and uniform, I need a ricer?
Mary McCaulley
March 26, 2016 at 9:31 amYou don’t NEED a potato ricer but it does help. Otherwise it’s mixing well, using a large knife to cut into equal pieces, and using a fork to crimp. They end up looking differently but still taste the same!

Buying a new or used auto might be a difficult method if you do not know what you are performing. By teaching yourself about car store shopping prior to go to the dealer, you can make things simpler for yourself. The following advice may help the next buying journey be more enjoyable.
Always bring a auto mechanic alongside when buying a fresh automobile. Vehicle dealers are popular for marketing lemons and you do not wish to be their following victim. If you can not get a auto mechanic to consider automobiles together with you, a minimum of be sure that you have him look at your closing decision before buying it.
Know your limits. Prior to starting store shopping for your next car or van, decide how much you can afford to pay, and stick to it. Don’t forget to add curiosity about your computations. You will definitely spend all around 20 percent as a payment in advance at the same time, so be prepared.
Before visiting a car dealership, know what sort of automobile you need. Investigation all of you choices just before purchasing so that you can figure out what works the best for your financial allowance and loved ones demands. Do your research to discover simply how much you must be paying for a probable auto.
Prior to signing any deal make time to read through each line, such as the fine print. If you have anything shown that you do not comprehend, usually do not sign until you get an response that you simply comprehend. Unsavory salesmen can make use of an agreement to put in several service fees that had been not talked about.
In the event you keep the preceding advice under consideration the very next time that you just go shopping for a automobile, you will end up very likely to get a good deal. Buying a auto lacks as a frustration. Only use the ideas using this post and you could receive the vehicle you would like in a excellent price.

November 8, 2017 at 12:00 pmwooow you guys are cool!! I always watch a tv show here about a family who sails and I find it so amazing, but I dont know if I would have courage because I`m kind of afraid of ocean. Having a boat might give you alot of freedom to travel, but I know there is alot of work to do behind the scenes!
Mary Rodriguez
November 8, 2017 at 7:02 pmI’m still scared of the ocean, hahaha! It’s a lot of work but so rewarding to liveaboard a sailboat 🙂

December 7, 2017 at 3:17 pmLots of good info here. As another frequent visitor, I’d add the following… For birders visiting in the spring (nesting season), the Native Bird Rookery at the Alligator Farm is a must see. In May, catch the Gamble Rogers Music Festival in the Colonial Quarter. Corazon Theatre and Cafe is right downtown near the Lightner, smaller than Epic but accessible w/o a car. First Mate on site at Camachee Cove is local and has much better prices than West Marine.

December 9, 2017 at 12:07 pmYou are actually living my dream! One day I’m hoping to wrangle in my own sail boat and circumnavigate the globe. No where near obtaining that goal but baby steps right? February 10, 2018 at 6:35 pmWhat an exciting trip to take! The tips for provisions are really insightful, how do you figure out how much meat and cheese you will need? I love that you have plenty of craft beer on board for your trip.

February 11, 2018 at 8:31 amWow, this is awesome! I don’t think I’d be able to do it, though. I have two left hands. Lol.
The only time I was on a boat, it was a boat tour through Amsterdam’s canals!

March 17, 2018 at 1:20 pmAfter reading your introduction, all i can think about now is cheeseburgers! Sounds like such a fun event. I am not much of a snorkeler but I still love going out on the boat and being in the water so a day trip sounds like a good idea.

March 17, 2018 at 2:52 pmI must say I am always a bit skeptic about such tourist activities.. but at least it seems like they are enjoying their life there and I just hope that people are not negatively exploiting them. For example, usually feeding wild animals is negative because it makes them depending on humans and they stop searching for their own food. But again, these one look happy and free and that is the most important!

April 4, 2018 at 12:11 pmDude, I am shocked that you have no mention of how this is the weirdest island in the Bahamas! From the openly discussed inbreeding, to the “slave island” they just recently stopped blocking he entrance to at night, to the weird drug busts they’ve had in the last couple of years, to the mennonites in the Ford Model T golf cart – that place is a cornucopia or bizarre! Awesome beach though! 😂

November 29, 2018 at 6:24 amWhoa! Tbh, we didn’t see most of that while we were there. We’ll be sure to investigate a bit further on our next time through ><
