One of our favorite things about traveling via sailboat is having the ability to bring our home everywhere we go. In addition to that, we also get to bring our dogs Jake and Elwood! These two pups love sailing to new places. I’m not sure they’re fans of heavy winds and pounding waves at times but absolutely love being outside all day everyday. In this post, we’ll share with you some of our favorite dog items to have along the way and some cute pics of the pups of course.
Dog Leashes
Although they prefer running around a secluded beach, we almost always have to put them on a leash in public. Here are Jake and Elwood’s favorite leashes from Ruffwear
Collars
We used to only have them wear a collar but have learned that they prefer a vest instead of wearing a collar all the time. Here are Jake and Elwood’s favorite collars and vests from Ruffwear
Pet Dishes + Treats
These two dogs could eat their weight in food each day if they wanted to. So when they get an opportunity for a treat, they take full advantage. Here are their favorite dishes and treats!
Dog Beds
Typically the dogs enjoy laying on a throw pillow and blanket while on the boat but we especially enjoy when they actually use their own dog beds.
Accessories
I wish our dogs played fetch but they don’t. Instead we will dress them up obnoxiously and buy things they may never ever want to wear.
Other Favorites
These may not be Jake and Elwood favorites but they do help us out at times.
