ToO MuCh ExCiTeMeNt FoR oUr HoNeYmOoN!!!

Tharon and I are planning the wedding diligently but the one thing we’ve got 100% completed is our HONEYMOON!! We’re headed to the Virgin Islands for an unforgettable experience of chartering our first yacht, island hopping, exploring their National Park, enjoying food & libations, and just in general relaxing away from everyday life.

We’ve rented a 38′ Dufour 380 named ‘Abrcadabra’ and are ready to sail away! Alongside the boat, we will have a tandem kayak, stand-up paddling board, fishing poles, & snorkeling gear. Some other features on the boat will be wi-fi (for watching movies at night, NOT WORK) and a blender for some frozen homemade cocktails. We’ll have the sailboat for a week to cruise BVI and will be our main living accommodations & transportation for our trip. We’ve been sailing for the last year and are completely ready for this grand voyage.

Alongside the truly amazing sailboat ride, we’ll also be staying at a very unique resort called Concordia Eco-Tents in St. John, USVI. We looked at many resorts but these are by far the best option for Tharon and I’s personality. They have a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and are on the outskirts of St. John National Park where we plan to hike and add to the adventure.

There are caves to explore, private islands to hammock on, fish to be caught and relaxation galore. I know the wedding in general is the BEST part but this is a close 2nd 😉
