One of mine and Tharon’s favorite locations in Grand Rapids is the Cactus Room within Frederik Meijer Gardens. We’ve enjoyed many exhibits within the venue but always make a point to experiencing this room upon our visits. It has brought us closer in enjoying a home away from home we’ve enjoyed for the past three years. Our visits to Cabo, Mexico!
Not only have these cactus’s reminded us of our wonderful vacations spent but has led us to enjoy a holiday away from work and everyday stresses. We enjoyed the gardens multiple times last year and allowed us to escape to many of the different musical acts we’ve had on our bucket list. The concerts this year included Cake, Yonder Mountain String Band, Jenny Lewis & Ray Lamontagne, and The Moody Blues. All were memorable in their own way but has continued to strengthen our love for Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.
We chose this venue because it’s already become a cherished place for us and will continue to remind us of the special times we continue to have in Grand Rapids.
